As the Arizona Cardinals head into their final preseason game of the 2021 and their roster is light five players after the team announced their moves to get to 80 players.
From the team:
The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has released offensive lineman Branden Bowen and defensive lineman David Parry, waived/injured linebacker Jamell Garcia-Williams and placed defensive lineman Jack Crawford on injured reserve.
Branden Bowen, David Parry, Jamell Garcia-Williams and Jack Crawford are not surprising moves, as the team has invested heavier in other players at the same position.
Parry may be the biggest surprise, but after the team brought back Corey Peters, it was all but a foregone conclusion that Peters would be on the roster, meaning it was going to be longer odds on parry.
Do any of the moves surprise you?
The Cardinals have a couple of moves left to make to get to their initial 53-man roster, but we are almost there.
