That means we will see Charles Washington, Deionte Thompson and Shawn Williams all likely making the roster, joining starters Budda Baker and Jalen Thompson.
This was a bit of a surprise with Banjo, as he was an integral piece over the last couple of seasons as the lead backup safety and one of the key special teams contributor.
Wiggins departure is interesting as well because you felt like that if Banjo was cut, then Wiggins made sense to make the roster.
What are your thoughts on the reports of both Banjo and Wiggins getting released and how the defensive backs roster, or at least the safety room is starting to look?
Johnny has an interesting take.
Safeties Chris Banjo and James Wiggins cut...Jordan Hicks seeing increased playing time at ILB.
