The Arizona Cardinals continue to make moves to get down to their first 53-man roster of the 2021 NFL season.

They cut ten players earlier, and we have reports of them moving on from veteran safety Chris Banjo and rookie safety James Wiggins.

That put us at 78 players, meaning there were 15 cuts left to make.

Well, the team announced two more moves today, as well as bringing back defensive tackle Jordan Phillips off the Covid-19 list.

From the team:

The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has activated defensive lineman Jordan Phillips from the Reserve/COVID-19 list, placed cornerback Darqueze Dennard on injured reserve and reached an injury settlement with linebacker Terrance Smith.

That brings the total now down to 76 players, with 13 moves left to make.

It also feels like it all but locks up a roster spot for Tay Gowan in 2021.

How do you feel about the roster so far?
