Arizona Cardinals reduce roster by 17 to get to 53

The Arizona Cardinals trimmed their roster on Tuesday as they announced the release of 15 players, while placing one on retirement/reserved list and coming to an injury settlement with another to get to 53 on their roster.

In addition, the team has placed cornerback Malcolm Butler on the reserve/retired list and has waived/injured offensive lineman Marcus Henry.

With the 10 moves yesterday the Cardinals are at 51 while they wait on Justin Pugh and Robert Alford to come off the Covid-19 list... But they should be at 53 soon.
