It would not be a day that ends in “y” if the Arizona Cardinals were not announcing starters were going on injured reserve.

From the team:

The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has re-signed safety Qwuantrezz Knight (KWAN-trez) and signed defensive lineman Ben Stille (STILL-ee) to the active roster from the practice squad.

In addition, the team placed defensive lineman Leki Fotu and linebacker Kyzir White on injured reserve, re-signed wide receiver Daniel Arias to the practice squad and released wide receiver Davion Davis from the practice squad.

The signings took place today at the Dignity Health Arizona Cardinals Training Center in Tempe, AZ.

The loss of Kyzri White cannot be overstated, but losing Leki Fotu, who has played well and is one of the few remaining veteran presences from the beginning of the season, is just mind-blowing.

The Cardinals thin line of talent has already taken a huge hit. Now, it is even thinner and we will see how this works out the final six games of the 2023 NFL season.

Good luck and speedy recovery to both of you.
