The Arizona Cardinals continue to churn the practice squad and potentially the end of the roster, as they have signed wide receiver Jeff Smith back to the practice squad.

From the team:

The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has re-signed wide receiver Jeff Smith to the practice squad. The signing took place today at the Dignity Health Arizona Cardinals Training Center in Tempe, AZ.

Smith has been in the NFL since 2019, has 34 catches for 426 yards in his NFL career.

He has not played a snap since 2022 in an NFL game, but from 2020-2022 he had 677 snaps on offense and 183 snaps on special teams.

With the injuries to Michael Wilson and potentially Marquise Brown, the addition of the 6-1 195lbs Smith who ran a 4.35 forty at the combine makes sense.

We will see if he gets elevated from the practice squad, but welcome back, Jeff.
