If I told you the score was 21-6 at the half you would have nodded along and agreed.
If I told you the yardage was 179-152, the time of possession was 21:48-8:12 and the rushing output was 84-21 you would say... Damn the Eagles look great.
Except, the Arizona Cardinals lead in every meaningful category except the scoreboard.
This one is a little lopsided based on miscommunication and bad luck.
The Cardinals have a 98-yard pick six against them because it seems like Michael Wilson did not get the check at the line of scrimmage.
And then on the final drive of the half, Andre Chachere read two plays very well, and instead of making plays, the Eagles get a first down then a touchdown, including a batted pass that somehow falls into the hands of Julio Jones.
That is the Cardinals season in a nutshell. They are around, they just can’t make enough plays.
Let’s see how the second half goes.
