The Arizona Cardinals are looking to beef up their defensive line through the bye week and their final four games of the season as they have elevated Naquan Jones to the active roster from the practice squad.
From the team:
The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has signed defensive lineman Naquan Jones to the active roster from the practice squad and has re-signed wide receiver Dan Chisena (chuh-SEN-uh) to the practice squad.
The signings took place today at the Dignity Health Arizona Cardinals Training Center in Tempe, AZ.
Jones has played in 32 games in his NFL career, including seven starts all with the Tennessee Titans.
The 6-3 315lbs Jones has 53 career tackles, including six tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks.
He will likely crack the rotation early, as the Cardinals look to build a little more depth along the defensive line.
Good luck to Jones in his new opportunity with the Cardinals.
