The most impressive part was how dominant the running game was over the final two quarters of the game.
For that, James Conner earned the FedEx Ground Player of the Week!
From his team:
For the first time since Kenyan Drake in Week 15 of 2019, an Arizona Cardinal has been voted by the fans as FedEx Ground Player of the Week! The perpetually angry-running James Conner had quite the homecoming in Pittsburgh this past Sunday, running for 104 yards on 25 carries (4.2 avg.) and two touchdowns as the Cardinals upset the Steelers on their own home field. This is James Conner’s third career FedEx Ground Player of the Week Award, with his first time coming as a Steeler in Week 1 of 2018 and second time coming in Week 8 of that same season.
For winning the FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week Award, FedEx will make a $2,000 donation in Conner’s name to a Historically Black College or University (HBCU), which will be applied towards needs-based scholarships to deserving HBCU students.
Congratulations and well deserved for James.
