The Arizona Cardinals clearly knew something was going on.

Matt Prater gift wrapped a final win for Pete Carroll, as the thorn in the side of the Arizona Cardinals for the last 14 seasons is finally out as the Seattle Seahawks head coach per Adam Schefter.

In his time with the Seahawks, Pete Carroll was 137-89-1, made the playoffs 10 times, a of course won Super Bowl XLVIII.

It sounds like he will remain with the team in some capacity, but his time as the head coach on the sideline is done.

In 14 seasons as head coach for the Seahawks, here is what Carroll did to the Arizona Caridnals: 18-9-1

Carroll has been around against the follow head coaches:

  • 4-2 v Ken Whisenhunt
  • 5-4-1 v Bruce Arians
  • 2-0 v Steve Wilks
  • 5-3 v Kliff Kingsbury
  • 2-0 v Jonathan Gannon

That is complete ownage of another organization during his tenure.

Good luck to Pete is whatever he decides to do next.
