Rumor: Free Agency could begin at midnight

I have no idea if this is true or not, but if it is this will help the Cardinals in their QB search. According to the Link, the NFL is preparing itself for the possibility that a Judge could rule that the NFL needs to leave its doors open, and therefore allow Free Agents to sign with other teams and Trades as soon as 12:01 AM on Saturday. So, Bulger signing as a Free Agent, or trading for Kolb/Bulger/Orton could still be a possibility for the Cardinals even if there is a Lockout.

Von Miller = Vernon Gholston? Yikes!

Dave Razzano, former NFL scout, is the first to come out in the media and giving some very harsh criticism of Von Miller, who is coveted by many of use here. He says he is a Vernon Gholston in the making. He also is not high on Patrick Peterson or Prince Amukamara, if that means anything. Check out the read and share your thoughts. Is he crazy? I haven't looked at tape, but it does raise some small concerns at least.

Patrick Peterson Review

This is an article Mike Sando linked to. The author calls Peterson the best CB in 8-10 years. Makes me think it's even less likely that he's available at #5. Also makes me think he's a guy you have to take if he is.

League, NFLPA extend labor talks

"The NFL and the NFL Players Association have mutually agreed to a seven-day extension of their talks toward a new collective bargaining agreement, and the two sides will resume labor negotiations on Monday under the continued supervision of federal mediator George Cohen, sources said Friday." Can they get this deal done?

24-Hr Extension of CBA Does Not Include Player Negotiations

Adam Schefter tweeted out new information about the CBA extension. It was previously believed that the time to re-sign players from your own team and those released by other teams would be extended as well -- business as usual. The new information informs us that the deadline to sign players is not extended and expires Thursday night at midnight. So no hope of the Cardinals picking anybody up or extending Fitz unless something happens tonight.

NFL Labor talks extended for one day

Good news, is it possible that they can get a deal worked out by then? The new deadline is midnight on Friday.

Tim Hasselbeck calls out Marc Bulger, trying to help his brother Matt out?

A lot of RotB fans have wanted the Cardinals to sign Marc Bulger once the labor dispute is settled. Tim Hasselbeck is probably just trying to boost his brother's free agent standings and get him a new contract with as much money as possible, but who knows?

Matt Leinart recorded bashing the Cardinals organization during the final Preseason game

I'm surprised we didn't hear about this sooner. Here is the excerpt from the article by Bickley. "Matt Leinart couldn't catch a break in 2010. During the last game of the preseason, the then-Cardinals quarterback was wandering the sideline when he approached a teammate who was wired to capture the sounds of an NFL game. The teammate asked Leinart about his future in Arizona, and according to whispers, Leinart let loose on the organization and the head coach. One problem: Leinart had no idea his teammate was wearing a hidden microphone. Did the audio outburst reach Ken Whisenhunt? Did it hasten or trigger Leinart's departure? The Cardinals say no, but clearly, it couldn't have helped."
